Carmen Marie Clark Martin, age 44, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021. Born November 15, 1976, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late James Roger Clark, Sr. and Frances Elaine McIntosh Phillips. Carmen was a retired loan officer with Wells Fargo. She loved the beach, looking at Christmas lights and singing but she received the most joy from spending time with her family and friends. Carmen was a member of the House of Prayer. She is survived by her husband, Robert Earl Ricketts, IV; daughters, Josie Martin, Jenna Martin, Jada Ricketts, Alexis Ricketts, Jessica Johnson-Mitchell and Leanna Clark; nieces, Christina Clark and Emily Clark; brother, Kenneth Clark of Washington, DC; and 8 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Roger Clark, Jr.; and her grandparents. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 1:00-2:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation in the Chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jerry Nation officiating. Flowers will be accepted and memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
