Carol Ann Atwood Hiatt, age 79, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Morningside Assisted Living. Born in Los Angeles, CA on May 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Donald Lester Atwood and the late Marjorie Ethel Preston Atwood. She worked for many years as a tech for the Watsonville Memorial Hospital. Carol was a member of First Church of Nazarene in Crossville, TN. She is survived by her nephew, Brett Cohen, of Anderson, SC; a niece, Cheryl Dodgin, of Anderson, SC; and a sister-in-law, Ann Osborn, of Anchorage, Alaska. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Clinton Hiatt; a son, Robert "Bobby" Donald Hiatt; a daughter, Julie Hiatt; and a sister, Betty Jean Cohen. The service to honor and celebrate Mrs. Hiatt's life will be held at a later date at Pajaro Valley Public Cemetery in Watsonville, CA.
