Carol Ann Cox Jarrell, age 65, of LaFrance, SC, passed away Sunday, March, 6, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born April 15, 1956, in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lester Cox and Louise Millwood Cox. Carol enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, James Robert Jarrell; sons, James Robert Jarrell, II (Jodi) of Tallahassee, FL, and James Robert Jarrell, III of LaFrance, SC; daughters, Rebecca Lynn Arini (Lara) of Pendleton, SC, and Kathy Jarrell (Kriss) of Union, SC; brother, Larry Cox (Sandra) of Lavonia, GA; sisters, Virginia Cox of Townville, SC, and Catherine Dobbs (Mack) of Dallas, GA; and grandchildren, Carolynn Jarrell, Andrew Arini, and Jesse Arini. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Baby Snider. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marion Snider officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
