Carol Ann Oakley, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, at her residence. She was born April 19, 1943, in Lancaster, OH. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and was of the Lutheran faith. While living in Florida, Carol was a licensed realtor, a licensed cosmetologist, and owner/operator of Annie Oakley's Florist in Bel Aire. In 1997 she and her loving husband, Richard, moved to Anderson, SC. She was a florist with Winn-Dixie in Anderson until retirement. Carol loved her cats and dogs and spent hours in her flower garden. She could be somewhat stubborn but she was always loving and caring. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard Howard Oakley. A committal at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date.
