Carol Lynn Andreasen Yeakle, age 65, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Born October 21, 1957, in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Harry Andreasen and Agnes MacKenzie Andreasen. Carol was retired from the Transportation Security Administration. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, basket weaving, gardening, and traveling and was an active volunteer with the U.S.O. She was a dog lover and breeder of the Norwegian Elkhound. Carol's number one priority was her family, being very involved in her children's activities and sports and later in life her grandchildren's. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband Ronald W. Yeakle; daughters, Heather Y. Harrison and Natalie R. Logsdon; brother, Keith Andreasen; sister, Lisa Henry; and grandchildren, Jaylen, Derek, Lars, Tristan, and MacKenzie. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Mr. Michael Rippy as Celebrant.
