Mary Carole G. Martin, age 72, of Anderson, SC passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 1, 1946 in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harold J. and June Roberts Williams. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Gray and sister, June Juanita Erickson. Carole retired after 18 years in administration with School District 5. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church. Carole loved her family, she was the devoted wife of Furman Martin for 34 years; beloved daughters, Kim Lindsay (Kyle) and Shannon Ramsey (Tim); brother, Harold Williams (Anne); sister, Jeanette Cheek (Victor); and two grandchildren, Kelsey and Karley Ramsey. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 pm Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Varennes Heights Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Kirt Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
