Carolyn Patricia Alexander, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her home.

Born September 12, 1945, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Durell Watt and Elander Dodd Watt. She was married to Lamar Winford Alexander until his death in 2023. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Henry Watt.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy and loved them all with her whole heart. She loved cooking and had an extensive recipe collection. To her family and friends, she was the best cook in the world and made the best chocolate cake! She also enjoyed flowers and car shows. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in various church activities.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Bargiol (Mark) and Leigh Alexander (Bruce); brothers, Lonnie Watt (Libby) and Roger Watt (Dottie); grandchildren, Alexis Turner (Wesley), Sarah Pintado (Eddie), and Mackenzie Alexander; and great grandchildren, Liam Pintado, Madilyn Pintado, Allison Pintado, and Dakoda Knighton.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 9:30-10:45 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am in the Chapel with Dr. Glen Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
