ANDERSON May 28, 1937 - August 27, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Carolyn Williams Anderson, age 71, of 1744 Country Meadows, formerly of Old Spring Drive, wife of the late Charles Robert Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at her residence.Born in Detroit, Michigan on May 28, 1937, Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of the late Harold Eugene Williams and Ella Ruth Turner Williams. A graduate of Winthrop College, she was a retired educator from Anderson County School District 5 with 25 years of service. Prior to her wedding, she was the pianist at Southside Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Mrs. Anderson was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.Survivors include her sons, Kin Anderson of Anderson and Rob Anderson of Laurens; daughter, Cheryl Crassaris and her husband, Paul of Anderson; three grandchildren, McKinley Anderson, Reece Anderson and Charlie Crassaris. The family will receive friends at New Prospect Baptist Church on Monday, September 1, 2008 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am officiated by the Reverends David Stevenson and Tom Turner. The Graveside Service will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 12:30 pm.
