CAROLYN DUDLEY October 30, 1937 - June 6, 2012 Carolyn Jane Cooper Dudley, age 74, of 103 W. Green Street in Iva, wife of Tom E. Dudley, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Columbus Tally Cooper and the late Eunice Scarborough Cooper. Carolyn worked for many years in the family business. She loved her home, her family and was passionate about her gardening. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iva. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her sons, Tom "Butch" Dudley, Jr. of Lexington, SC and Russell Dudley of Iva, SC; two brothers, Gary Cooper of Starr, SC and Rodney Cooper of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Mark Dudley and his wife Tracy and Molly Dudley Young and her husband Jesse; four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Corey, Natalie, and Jace. Graveside services to honor the life of Mrs. Dudley will be held at Iva City Cemetery on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 am with Reverend Jerry Gray officiating. The family will gather for a time of visitation after the service. The family will be at the residence.
