Margaret Carolyn Bond Dyar, age 82, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on October 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Otis Bond and the late Emma Lou Evans Bond. Carolyn retired from Michelin Tire Corporation. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her children, Diane Barrett, Reverend Dale Dyar (Teresa), Phyllis Bolt (Jack) and David Dyar (Rachel); one sister, Linda King; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Bond and Jimmy Bond; as well as a sister, Jeanette Vaughn. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Brent Lollis and Reverend Dale Dyar officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
