Martha Carolyn Keen, age 84, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, SC on May 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Josh Davis and the late Mary Latham Davis. She is survived by her sons, Steve Loftis and his wife Cathy, of Greenville, SC, Barry Loftis, of Anderson, SC and Daryl Loftis and his wife Ioana, of Easley, SC; and four grandchildren, Andrew, Kayci, Trent, and Joshua Loftis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian Oswald Loftis and her second husband, Hurburt Malvin Keen; a brother, Aubrey Davis; a sister, Irene Davis Brooks; and a granddaughter, Heather Marie Loftis. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Varennes Presbyterian Church with Reverend Sanders Read and Mr. Trent Loftis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, August 29th, 2016 at the church, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Varennes Presbyterian Church, PO Box 408, Starr, SC 29684.
