Carolyn Lumley King Belton, SC Carolyn Lumley King, age 71, of Belton, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at her residence. Born in Treutlen County, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Grover Lumley, Sr. and the late Arizonia Cowart Lumley. She retired from Mount Vernon Mills with nearly 20 years of service. She was an avid vegetable and flower gardener. Carolyn was a member of Restoration Chapel in Williamston, SC. She is survived by her son, Ray Hall; two brothers, James and Kenneth Lumley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle Wayne King; a brother, William Lumley and sisters, Sybil Crane, Margaret Turner, and Norma Pepper. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bill Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
