Born in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of William Arthur Bay and the late Betty Ruth Bay. She worked as an LPN at NHC in Anderson. She was a member of NewSpring Church in Anderson, SC. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Langen; three sons, Danny Ray Ratledge of Madisonville, TN, George Ernest Langen of Anderson and Adam Anthony Langen of Columbia, SC; a daughter, Veronica Wynn and her husband Kevin of Pelzer, SC; three sisters, Geneva Raye Bell and her husband Richard of Pelzer, SC, Christine Chaplian of Byesville, OH and Kimberly McSkimming of Ashtabula, OH; and 6 grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Lawrence Bradford officiating. The family will be at 20 Chase Avenue, Anderson, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted.
