Carolyn Shuler Moore, age 88, of Honea Path, SC, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born July 8, 1935, in Orangeburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John C. Shuler, Sr.. and Corine Julia Segrist Shuler. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, J.C. Shuler, and Bill Shuler.

Carolyn enjoyed traveling and seeing family who meant the world to her. When her children were growing up, she was a youth advisor at church. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed telling them ghost stories. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Bill Moore (Brenda); daughters, Sylvia Rhodes and Cindy Roark (William); sister, Shirley Brownlee; grandchildren, Bryan Frumkin (Erin), Michelle Collins (Jason), Jason Moore, Erica Whitehead, and Brittany Roark; and great grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Lauren, Blake, Maggie, and Alex.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
