YEARGINFEBRUARY 20, 1925 - OctoBER 16, 2009 ANDERSON, SC ' Carolyn Martin Yeargin, age 84, of 4116 Old Portman Road, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on February 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Martin and Irene McLees Martin. Mrs. Yeargin was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Survivors include her two daughters: Marilyn Y. Brooks of Anderson, and Lynne Y. Bozeman and husband, Chris of Anderson; one sister, Dorothy Fowler of Anderson; five grandchildren: Teresa Salisbury, Chad Brooks, Brad Brooks, Chris (Mitch) Castleberry, and Misty Darton; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Yeargin; her son, Harold D. 'Buddy' Yeargin, Jr.; a grandson, Bryan Eli Trawick; and two brothers, Melvin Martin & Wade Martin. The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Monday, October 19, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Jack Couch. Interment will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 5 pm until 7 pm on Sunday, October 18, 2009.
