OBITUARYCARRIE E.CLAMPFebruary 13, 1909 - May 23, 2007ANDERSON, SCCarrie Eunice Clamp, age 98, of Anderson, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson County on February 13, 1909, Mrs. Clamp was a daughter of the late Vance Cason and Sula Mae Sheriff Cason. She was retired from Orr Mill and was a member of the Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church where she attended the Ladies Bible Class.She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Alewine and her second husband, Julian Clamp; her son, Matthew C. Alewine, who was killed while serving in WWII; two brothers, and three sisters.A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 3:30 pm at Eastview Cemetery, Honea Path officiated by the Reverend Walt Monroe.The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.THE MCDOUGALD FUNERAL HOME is in charge of the arrangements.
