CARRIE STANDARD May 20, 1938 - February 14, 2007BELTON, SCMrs. Carrie Gunnells Standard, age 68, wife of Reverend Billy Standard of 2308 Bethany Church Road, Belton, SC, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson County, SC on May 20, 1938, Mrs. Standard was the daughter of the late John A. Gunnells and Margaret Robinson Gunnells. She was a member of Lee Shoals Church of God and the Ladies Bible Class. She was a homemaker and the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survivors include her husband, Rev. Billy Standard of the home; son, Charlie Standard of Honea Path, SC; daughters, Carolyn Dyar of Honea Path, SC and Linda Little of Belton, SC; four grandchildren, Paul Dyar, Adam Standard, Drew and Whitney Little; five step-granddaughters and six step-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Roy Lee Gunnells.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Edwin L. Huggins, Benny Dyar and Roy Vogan.
