Carrol Wayne Hickman Anderson, SC Carrol Wayne Hickman, age 87, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Starr, SC on October 18, 1927, he was the son of the late Carl Hickman and the late Eula Mae Moore Hickman. He worked in construction as a pipe supervisor. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Military Policeman. Carrol was a member of the Hasan Shrine Temple in Albany, GA and was a Master Mason. He was also a member of West Anderson Church of God. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Ransom Hickman; his children, Don Hickman and his wife Sheryl, of Old Town, FL, Sherry Carroll, of Anderson, SC, Joan Dickerson, of Anderson, SC, Debbie Lindley and her husband Rick, of Corpus Christi, TX, and Sadie Hickman, of Anderson, SC; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, and one daughter. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at West Anderson Church of God with Reverend John Daniel and Reverend Mark Daniel officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Hickman will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. The family will be at the residence, 703 Centerville Road, Anderson, SC and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
