Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late George W. Chambers and the late Fannie Elizabeth Whitlock Chambers. Mr. Chambers served during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army, from 1953-1955. He worked for Haynesworth Mill for 36 years, and was a member of Belmont Church of God Prophecy. He is survived by his daughter, Dedra Aderhold and her husband, Donnie of Anderson, SC; two grandson; Danny Aderhold and his wife, Tara and their children; Madison and Kainan; James Aderhold and his wife, Stephanie and their children; Cierra, Jake, Natalie, and his dog, Dusty. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Belmont Church of God Prophecy with Reverend Alan Rhodes, Larry Branyon and James Aderhold officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by Campbell Patriots Post 184. The family will be home of his daughter Dedra Aderhold, 221 A Rice Circle, Anderson, SC 29625 and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
