Cary Massaro, age 93, of Williamston, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 16, 2021, with his family by his side. Born January 1, 1928, in Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Alberino Sam Massaro and Ida Fata Massaro. He was married to Ina Massaro until her death in 1986. Cary was a veteran of the United States Navy and spent most of his life in Seal Beach and Long Beach, CA. He was as a professional bartender and an avid professional boxer. He loved horses and horse racing and worked most of his life at horse tracks. He is survived by his nephew, Cary John Massaro and his wife, Teresa; great niece, Erica Massaro; and sister in law, Jean Massaro. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Joseph Massaro. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Canonsburg, PA.
