Casey Justin Whitman, age 38, of Inman, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Born July 24, 1987, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Johnny Whitman and Teresa Gail Luke Whitman.

Casey was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was employed as a quality engineer with TopQM. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and enjoyed anime, horror movies, Jelly Roll concerts, fishing and camping. He also never passed up chicken and rice casserole or sushi which were a few of his favorite foods. He adored his beloved dog Fisher Justin. Casey was a loving son, partner, and friend, and will be missed by so many who will cherish his memory forever.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Dale Whitman; sisters, Jaclyn Mixon and Jessica Johnson; and his partner, Allison Kimball.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Mr. Michael Rippy as celebrant.
