PAULINE AIKEN May 24, 1930 - July 28, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Catherine Pauline Bowen Weldon Aiken, age 78 of 124 Farmer Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2008.Born in Anderson, SC on May 24, 1930, Mrs. Aiken was a daughter of the late John Calvin Bowen and Lucille Chitwood Bowen. She retired from Abney Mills and attended Burdine Road Church of God where she was a member of the Senior Sunday School class.She was the beloved wife of Floyd Aiken of the home, and loving mother to Jimmy Weldon, Cathy Harbin, Karon Wentzky, Roger Weldon, Carol Jones, Roger Aiken and Ricky Aiken; brother, Whitner Bowen; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Jackie Weldon; daughter, Denise Browning; first husband, Dorsey Weldon and brothers, Herman Bowen and Terry Bowen.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Curtis Lanier and Ray Johnson.
