Blume of 513 Visage Drive, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Hart Care Center in Hartwell, GA.Born in Anderson, SC on February 22, 1927, Mrs. Blume was the daughter of the late Edward Garland and Edna Taylor Garland. She was a former employee of Anderson Mill and the Anderson Independent-Mail Shipping Department. She is survived by her husband, Harold Blume of the home; son, Billy Ray 'Bud' Blume; brother, Kenneth Garland; two grandsons, Craig Blume and Kevin Cheek and three great-grandchildren, Casey Blume, Savannah Cheek and Kayla Blume.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Jean Blume Cheek; brother, Charles Garland and sister, Ruth Tribble.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
