Catherine Acierno Both, age 85, of Townville, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 25, 1936, in Hewlett, NY, she was the daughter of the late Armand Acierno and Catherine Widmann Acierno. She was married for 63 years to Terrence "Terry" Both until his death on June 8, 2022. Catherine was a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, spending time with her dog Reggie, and keeping in touch with family members. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Nancy Both of Westminster, SC and Larry Both (Marie) of Valrico, FL; grandchildren, David (Hailey), Michelle, Lee, and Jeannette (Richard); great-grandson, Damien; sister, Mary Ann Fantasia; and her toy poodle, Reggie. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Both. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 11:00am-1:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 1:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Philip S. Gillespie officiating.
