Catherine Mae Rhodes Collins-Krempel, 90, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 9, 1928, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Mary Cartee Rhodes. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Dan Collins, second husband, Winford Summerall and third husband, Bill Krempel; brothers, Jimmy and Billy Rhodes; sisters, Pauline Edgar, Ressie Campbell and Edna Arnold and one grandson, Bobby Daniel Collins, Jr. Catherine was a graduate of Pendleton High School and a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church. She retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass Platinum Division in Anderson. She is survived by her son, Bobby D. Collins (Elaine); grandson, Randall Collins (Stacey); granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Collins; great-grandchildren, Brittany Tapia (Emilio), Kaitlyn Beebe (Austin), Kayla Campbell (Jacob) and Brandi Collins; great-great grandchildren, Eli Daniel Tapia, Emma Kate Beebe, Ella Tapia, Everett Beebe and Abel Ford; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Friday, August 3, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:30 pm Friday with Rev. Furman Martin officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
