Catherine Marie Burns Gebhart, age 68, of Belton, SC, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 30, 1953, in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James Newel Cummings and Peggy Sue Burns Cummings. She is survived by her husband, Paul Richard Gebhart; son, Thomas Kelley, Jr. (Victoria) of Fayetteville, GA; daughters, Christie Vaughn (Wayne) of Pendleton, and Alicia Marie Kelley of Anderson; stepdaughter, Nelinda Naji (Omar) of Greenville; brother, Steve Cummings of Dacusville, GA; sisters, Gail Glozier (Mike) of Georgia and Debra Wall (Tom) of Blueridge, GA; granddaughter, Helena Kirkland (Tim) of Georgia; and great grandchildren, Javier Hernandez Garcia and Eleanor Kirkland both of Georgia; nephews, Joseph Wall of Blueridge, GA and James Wall of Lawrenceville, GA; and niece, Amanda Cummings of Japan. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, www.nationalbreastcancer.org. The family will be at their respective homes.
