Catherine K. "Sentell" Pickens, age 94, of Pelzer passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Heartland Healthcare Center Greenville West. Born September 13, 1924 in Pickens County, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Claude and Martha Rozella Ray Sentell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Pickens; brothers, Harvey, James, Clifton, Houston, and Deward "Frog" Sentell and sisters, Marie Allen, Hazel Spearman, Bertie Mae Boggs, Imogene Boggs, Louise Moody and Lenora Sentell. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Marvin Moody and sister-in-law, Lois Sentell. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:15 pm Sunday, November 4, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:30 pm Sunday with Rev. Doug Goss and Pastor Ron King officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
