Webb, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC on May 17, 1916, Mrs. Webb was a daughter of the late James Robert Owen, Sr., and Blanche Kay Owen. She was a graduate of White Plains High School and retired from Anderson Memorial Hospital as a Surgical Technician. She was a member of Midway Presbyterian Church for over 65 years and was presently attending NewSpring Church.Survivors include her son, Frankie Webb; daughter, Gloria Hackett( Rufus) of Anderson; sister, Frances O. Kowalski of Anderson; four grandchildren, Teresa Gleason(Wayne), Terri Hackett (Don), Michael Webb(Stephanie), Blake McCarthy( Rob); five great-grandchildren; Heather Campbell, Timothy White, Brendon Webb, John Carter Webb and Fletcher McCarthy.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings, James Robert Owen, Jr., and sisters, Willemena McHaffey, Stella Johnston and Alton O. Rodgers.The family will receive friends at Midway Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:30 pm officiated by the Reverend Mel Davis.
