MINALGA August 9, 1948 - April 11, 2010PENDLETON, SCCathy Diane Williams Minalga, age 61, of 317 Sleepy Hollow, Pendleton, SC, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC on August 9, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Lyman Garcia Williams and Eleanor Ruth Edmonds Williams. Mrs. Minalga was a 1966 graduate of T. L. Hanna High School and was a secretary for the school system in Plainfield, NJ. She worked for many years for the Singer Corporation in New Jersey and Anderson, SC. She also worked for the T. Ree McCoy & Son in Anderson, SC.She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Philip F. Minalga of the home; sisters, Peggy Williams Padilla and her husband, Dan and Reggie Lynn Williams Dowell and her husband, Dale and many beloved nieces and nephews.A Cryptside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum officiated by the Reverend Larry Baldwin.
