Cathy Cain Taylor, age 69, of Williamston, SC, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1951, in Anderson, and was the daughter of the late Charles M. Cain and Marian Alewine Cain. Cathy spent many years as the secretary for Stringer Oil Company before working at Sullivan Hardware. She loved to read was known to read five books a week. Cathy loved the Lord and was an active member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed being a part of the senior citizens group in Williamston. Cathy cherished her family but especially her grandchildren who called her "Ca-Ca" She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Perez (Angel); brother, Dennis Cain; grandchildren, Charles, Christian and Eric Perez; nephew Jason Cain (Amanda) and their children, Kinsley Nunn and Hayden Cain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ford Bradley Taylor. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 6, 2021, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Helen Sutherland officiating.
