Cecilia Elizabeth Gilbert, age 90, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Hamp Pruitt and Ida Belle Broome Pruitt. She was a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Gilbert and his wife Mary Lee; a sister, Edith Gunter; two grandchildren, Heather Lewis and Brent Gilbert; and two great-grandchildren, Fletcher and Rider Gilbert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fletcher Gilbert. The family held a private graveside service on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
