Harrison, age 87, of 152 Broadwell Mill Road, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Hart Care Center in Hartwell, GA.Born in Franklin Springs on December 12, 1919, Mrs. Harrison was a daughter of the late Charlie B. Bennett and Bertie Freeman Bennett. She was a graduate of Emmanuel College, Franklin Springs, GA. She was retired from Coats and Clark in Atlanta, GA after 40 years of service. She was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Anderson.Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Harrison of Anderson; a sister, Reecie Hatcher of Anderson and nieces and nephews, Dennis Hatcher and his wife Teresa of Anderson, David Hatcher and his wife Dayle of Charleston, SC, Ricky Hatcher of Anderson, Bern Bennett and his wife Malese of Royston, Guy Beaver and his wife Margie of Salisbury, NC, and Joe Alfano and his wife Helen of Landis NC. Mrs. Harrison also had many special and dear friends in the Atlanta area.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bern Bennett Sr. and sisters, Knoxie Beaver, Julia Bennett and L.T. Bennett.A Memorial Service will be held at the New Hope United Methodist Church at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 officiated by the Reverend Phillip Stout.
