Cecil J. Radford, Jr., age 82, husband of Doris Cobb Radford, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Born in Honea Path, SC, on March 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Cecil J. Radford, Sr. and the late Minnie Mae Crowe Radford. Mr. Radford was a 1950 graduate of Boys High School. He was a retired supervisor for Mayfair Mills and was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Including his wife, Cecil is survived by their three sons, Keith Jance Radford (Dean) of Aiken, SC, Kyle Robin Radford (Donna) of Hendersonville, NC and Yon Taylor Radford of Anderson, SC, sister, Sybil Etheridge (Roy) of Anderson, SC, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa Lynn Radford; brothers, Neil, Jack, and Bobby Radford; sisters, Pauline Scott, Frances Bridges, Margaret Smith and Elise Werner. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Tom Owen. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:00pm prior to the service.
