Cecil Lamar Todd, 87 of Sandy Springs, SC passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, in Anderson, SC. Born July 13, 1930 in Cobb County, GA, he was a son of the late Joseph "Joe" Master Todd and the late Bonnie Howard Todd. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a retired salesman and a member of LaFrance Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Carol McCoy Todd; daughters, Janis Shook (Charles), Cynthia Brock (Mike), Sherry Allison (Roger) and Vicki Landreth; sisters, Margaret Whitman and Rachel Fowler; stepbrothers, Marvin, Jimmy and Ralph Davis; stepsisters, Martha Cole and Dorothy Meredith; 9 grandchildren, Todd Garrison, Jeremy and Adam Scruggs, Shawn, Nicholas, Brent and Rebekah Allison, and Jessica and Michael Landreth; and 7 great-grandchildren, Drew and Camilla Garrison, Kolby and Alexis Scruggs, Ariel, Logan and Noah Allison. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Woody and Mildred Hunnicutt and stepbrother, Pelham Davis, Sr. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday August 12, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday August 13, 2017 at LaFrance Church of God with Rev. Roger Allison and Rev. James Shealy officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
