Infant Channin Emeri Cruz Chapman, of Anderson, passed away on August 31, 2013, at his residence. Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Cruz Cordell Chapman and Eboni Marie Johnson. During his days here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift that will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him. His smile and big bright eyes filled our heart with great joy and love. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Cameron Chapman, of Anderson, SC; his sisters, Justice Hagood, Paris and Chasidy Chapman, all of Anderson, SC; his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Sandra Godbold, of Columbia, SC and Joe Johnson, of Anderson, SC; and his paternal grandparents, Elijah Andrews of Anderson, SC and Starriet and Barry Harris of Crawfordville, GA; his great-grandparents, Margaret and Joe Johnson, of Anderson, SC and Josephine and Teresa Chapman, of Crawfordville, GA, Bruce Burton, of Camden, NJ and Jerry Phillips, Mebane, NC, Gene Hanks, of Anderson, SC; his great-great grandmother, Lizzie Chapman, all of Crawfordville, GA; his uncles, Joseph and Derrick Johnson, of Anderson, Darius Chapman, Montel Manago, of Crawfordville, GA; his aunts, Mika Madden, of Anderson, SC, Yoshika Chapman, of Anderson, SC, Jasmine Ware of Crawfordville, GA and Ashley Andrews, of Anderson, SC; and very special friends of the family, Laura Thompson, of Anderson, SC, Crystal Campbell "Star", of Anderson, SC and Brandi Davis, of Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of little Channin will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 5:00 PM with Reverend Rick Kirby officiating and Bishop Marshall Isom officiating.
