Barton, age 67, husband of Brenda Bryant Barton of 1111 Bryant Road, Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, February 03, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SCBorn in Anderson, SC on October 24, 1939, Mr. Barton was a son of Lucile Powell Barton of Anderson, SC and the late Horace Barton. He was a 1957 graduate of Boys High School. He was employed with textiles for eighteen years and White Jones Hardware for twelve years. Mr. Barton was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church where he served as Director of Music from 1965 until 1982. He was a former member of the Anderson Civic Chorale.Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Brenda Bryant Barton of the home; daughters, Amy Graham and her husband, Brent of Anderson, SC and Allison Ramsey and her husband, Justin of Simpsonville, SC; son, Russell Barton and his wife, Wendy of Anderson, SC; mother, Lucile Powell Barton of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Ivy and Wyatt Graham, Regan and Kailyn Brown, Macy Beth Ramsey; Bryant, Madyson and Ally Grace Barton; two brothers, Donnie and Douglas Barton, both of Anderson, SC.Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Long Branch Baptist Church officiated by the Reverends Wayne Watson and Hulon Bryant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.
