Charles Edward Cleveland, 86 of Anderson, SC passed away January 30, 2026, at North Pointe Memory Care in Anderson, SC.

Born April 2, 1939, in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Kyle Cleveland and the late Cecil Elizabeth Mackey Cleveland. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Lucille "Dot" Crumpton Cleveland; sisters Elizabeth Milford and Mary Ann Blakely; daughter, Gail Harbert and grandson, Jay Harbert.

He was a long-time and faithful member of St John's United Methodist Church, the Anderson Elks Lodge, and the Cushman Club.

He is survived by his sons, Kym Cleveland (Kelly), Marc Cleveland, and Lewis Poore (Jodi) all of Anderson, SC. Jerry Poore of Florida; daughters, Tara Boyce of Raleigh, NC and Debbie Cleveland of Springfield, MO; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to send our heart-felt gratitude to the compassionate staff at North Pointe Magnolia Trails for the dedicated care, immense support, and exceptional love that they provided every day.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at The McDougald Funeral Home. The service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
