Charles Allen Curtis, III, age 80, of Pendleton, SC, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home. Born April 6, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Allen Curtis, Jr. and Theresa Mae Simpson Curtis. He was married to for 37 years to Helen Larue Curtis until her death in April 2012. James spent his career as an international longshoreman. He is survived by his sons, James B. Curtis of Pendleton, SC, Michael A. Curtis of Denver, CO, and Charles A. Curtis, IV of West Virginia.
