Campbell Veterans Nursing Center.Born in Oconee County, SC on April 17, 1926, Mr. Duncan was a son of the late Bruce Cannon Duncan and Lilly Treadway Duncan. He was a United States Army World War II veteran and a member of Pendleton American Legion Post 113. He was a retired shoemaker and shoe salesman for over 40 years and attended Fants Grove Baptist Church.He is survived by his brother, Roy Calvin 'Cowboy' Duncan and his wife, Annie of Pendleton and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Mike Cothran. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Clemson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of his brother, Roy Calvin 'Cowboy' Duncan, 203 Magnolia Terrace, Pendleton.
