Charles Lee Franklin, 78, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born April 7, 1940 in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Acie Franklin and the late Sara Cantor. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Grace Arflin Franklin; sons, Doug and Tony Franklin and brother, Clarence Franklin. Charles retired from Wamsutta Mill as a shop technician. He is survived by his son, Randy Franklin of Anderson, SC; daughter, Tina Franklin of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Christy Chasteen (Jason), Ashely Franklin, Drew Franklin, Kevin Franklin, Travis Franklin (Katelyn), Tracee Franklin, Granger Franklin, Tanner Carter and Andrew White all of Anderson, SC; and also, six great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Events Final Resting Place M.J.
