OBITUARYCHARLES 'RED' KEASLERNovember 17, 1934 - June 30, 2007ANDERSON, SCCharles Eugene Keasler, age 72, of 206 Keasler Road, husband of the late Joann Davis Keasler, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson County on November 17, 1934, Mr. Keasler was a son of the late B.E. 'Pete' Keasler and Azalea Davis Keasler. He retired with 34 years of service as a Group Leader from Owens Corning Fiberglas, a part-time farmer and also a security guard with American Security. He was a 1952 graduate from Boys' High School and served in the Army National Guard for 10 years. He was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church and the Desire Sunday School class. He was a member of Ruff Masonic Lodge, a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of York Rites and a Hejaz Shriner and also a member of the Anderson Red Fez Club.Survivors include his son, Norman E. Keasler of Anderson; twin daughters, Teresa K Abercrombie and Lesia K. Hanks and her husband, Jerry of Anderson; a brother, Larry D. Keasler of Anderson and one granddaughter, Delta Lovely Vinson and one step great-granddaughter, Sydney Black.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007, at 2:00 pm in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Reverend Dr. Tony Smith and the Reverend Tom Turner. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Rosewood Mausoleum with Masonic Rites.The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of a daughter, Lesia Hanks, 202 Keasler Road.Flowers are optional.
