Charles Theodore Morgan, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born November 24, 1940, in Attala County, MS, he was the son of the late Samuel Nelson Morgan and Mary Elizabeth Peninger Morgan. Charles was a career military man retiring as a Sr. Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Louann Niles Morgan; sons, Rev. Robert Woodruff (Holly) of Waverly, GA, and David Woodruff (Beverly) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Loretta Pominville of Anderson, SC; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 7, 2022 at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord Baptist Church for the Orrville Ministry, 1012 Concord Rd., Anderson, SC 296214.
