He was a United States Army World War II veteran and was retired from BASF. He was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge and Trinity United Methodist Church in Anderson.Survivors include a son, Timothy Charles Sain of Jasper, GA and a sister, Wilma Louise Wilson of Kannapolis, NC.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 10:00 am at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord, NC officiated by the Reverend Frank Lybrand.
