Charles Bickley Timms, Sr., age 88, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in the Lebanon Community, on December 20, 1927, he was the son of the late Samuel L. Timms and the late Icie S. Timms. He was a graduate of Boys High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Charles was the owner of Timms Harley-Davidson and was a member of Eureka Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Bowen Timms; a son, Charles Bickley "Bicky" Timms, Jr, of Anderson.; three daughters, Charlene McCallum and her husband Scott, of Pendelton, SC, Lucretia Perkins and her husband Mike, of Anderson, SC and Cindy Garrison and her husband Richard, of Sandy Springs, SC ; a brother, Sam Timms; and a sister, Betty Moore; eight grandchildren, Madison Timms, Ali Rose Timms, Charles Timms, III, Rocky Timms, Matthew Perkins, Keri Small, Zachary Garrison and Christopher Garrison; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lovis, Lewis, Hoyt, and Lee Timms; and three sisters, Agatha Brown, Cornelia Spearman, and Obera Couch. The Funeral Service will be held at Eureka Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Dickard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
