Charles Allen Vaughn, 76 of Anderson, SC died peacefully, Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. In his career Charles was a carpenter, metal worker, and property manager. Charles enjoyed gardening and was well known for his delicious stews. Born February 20, 1941, he was a son of the late William Allen Vaughn and the late Gladys Louise Vaughn. Charles is survived by many friends and extended family members who will miss him. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the chapel at The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
