Charlie Leo Davis, age 59, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Born June 23, 1964, in Anderson, SC, he was a son of Lera Lenora Quarles Davis and the late Johnnie Lawrence Davis.

Charlie was a strong, detailed person who loved mathematics. These traits led him to the art of welding. He was a true craftsman. Charlie was a gifted and talented musician. He had a God-given gift to play drums, piano, guitar, basically any instrument from his soul strictly by ear. He loved his church and being a member of the Worship Team at Christ Church, EPC of Anderson. Charlie loved his family. Having no children of his own, he doted on his many nieces and nephews. He will be missed.

He is survived by his mother, Lera Lenora Quarles Davis; fiancé Anita Shamley; brothers, Calvin Jacob Davis and Raymond Timothy Davis, Sr.; sister, Mary Lucinda Davis Hopkins; sister-in-law, Freddie Genise Davis; brother-in-law, Darryl Brian Hopkins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of the life of Charlie Leo Davis will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Christ Church, EPC Anderson with Rev. Nate Wolcott officiating. Those paying respects to the family may do so one hour before the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Christ Church.
