Charlie Graydon Anderson, SC Charles Richard Graydon, age 67, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born In Anderson, on October 9, 1946, he was the son of Beatrice Haynie Graydon, of Anderson, SC and the late Louie M. Graydon. He was a 1964 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School. Charlie served for 23 years in the South Carolina National Guard in Clemson, SC, retiring in August of 1995. He was a parts salesman for various Chevrolet dealerships. Along with his best friend and business partner, Harold Owen, they worked together selling used cars. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Emily Evans Graydon; son, James R. "Jamie" Graydon and his wife Dena, of Anderson, SC; great-grandson, raised in the home, Malaki Graydon; brothers, Louie H. Graydon, and his wife Lynn and Neal Graydon, all of Anderson; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Graydon, Sunni Busby, Reena Thomason and Jenna Marengo; five great-grandchildren; and in-laws, Teresa and Rick Lee and Judy and Tori West. The Funeral service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Dickson officiating.
