Chase Lee Bryant, age 3, of 1320 Bleckley Street, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Greenville Memorial Hospital with his mother at his side. Born in Anderson on April 1, 2011, he was the son of Patrick Sloan Powell and Kimberly Nicole Bryant, both of Anderson. Little Chase "Bug" was full of energy and he was adored by his mama, daddy and his entire family and friends. He never met a stranger, and brought much joy to all who knew him. In addition to his mama and daddy, Chase is survived by 2 brothers: Braiden Elizah Bryant and Jarques "Bubba" Lydell Walker, Jr, and a sister, Cloee Alyssa Walker all of the residence; maternal grandparents: Ray Allen Bryant, Sr. and Mary Gail Bryant and a special friend Sandy Lee Bond, all of Anderson; paternal grandparents, Nancy Jane Powell and Kenneth Dale Powell of Anderson; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Chase "Bug" will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Sayer officiating. The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Chase Bug.
