Christopher Len Hicks, age 53, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown in Greenville, SC. Born in Detroit, MI on February, 12, 1963, he was the son of the late Herbert Hicks, Sr. and the late Betty Sue Broyles Hicks. Chris proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a supervisor at Hartness International as an electrician. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and at playing Bingo. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Rhonda C. Hicks; a son, Brian Christopher Hicks; daughters, Miranda Leigh Kelley and Kimberly Nicole Hicks; a brother, Herbert Hicks; a sister, Freda Fay Calmes; and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. The family will be at the residence.
