Christine L. Carter Anderson, SC Christine L. Carter, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Laurens County, on August 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lynch and the late Grace Terry Lynch. She worked in textiles for most of her career at Appleton Mill and retiring from Glen Raven. Christine was a member of Emamnuel Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Wade Carter (Paulette Bowling) and Abigail Carter (Randy Franklin); six grandchildren, Christy Alexander (Paul), Kelli Callaham (David Lee), Timothy Erwin (Crystal), Curtis Carter, Jr., Andrew White, and Tanner Carter; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curt L.R. Carter; two sons, Curtis and Terry Carter; a granddaughter, Angie Carter; and three sisters. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. David Lee Callaham officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Kelli Callaham, 2812 Ranchwood Drive, Anderson, SC 29621 and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
